Angelina Jolie has started shooting her next movie today, and we’ve got a first look at it! Disney released the first still of her in the title role of Maleficent today. She plays that very sorceress who makes Sleeping Beauty’s life a misery, and she’s certainly looking pretty evil in this image. With multicoloured irises and a horned hat, Jolie’s in full on evil mode for this one, and I can’t wait to see her embrace this side again. Elle Fanning will be her nemesis, while Sam Riley, Juno Temple, Lesley Manville, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson and Sharlto Copley also star.
March 14th 2014 is the current release date of the movie, and no doubt we’ll get plenty more looks at Jolie, Fanning, et al before then.
